Waialae Beach is located near the Kahala Hotel, only 5 miles east of Waikiki. This beach park has an expansive grassy lawn area with some palm trees as well as a sandy beach. There is also a peninsula which leads out to a small tropical off-shore island--a picturesque location. A panoramic view of Koko Head and the Koko Head Crater can be clearly viewed when on this peninsula.
